Now that we only support Java 8 we should remove references to -XX:MaxPermSize
in the poms, scripts, documents, wiki.
The build log is littered with
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM warning: ignoring option MaxPermSize=512m;
support was removed in 8.0
