There is no support for migration of data from earlier version of Apache Atlas. Also, the data generated using this alpha release may not migrate to Apache Atlas 1.0 GA release. I will add this to README.txt file as well. Instructions to run build & run Apache Atlas are included in the documentation here - http://atlas.apache.org/InstallationSteps.html. Please review. If any fixes are needed to this documentation, lets track this via a JIRA. This doc fix shouldn't be a release blocker; documentation can be updated post-release.
