Yes, array should be used.
Example:

   "Locations":[
      {  
         guid:"<GUID>",
         typeName:“<type name>"
      },
      {  
         guid:"<GUID>",
         typeName:“<type name>"
      },
      {  
         guid:"<GUID>",
         typeName:“<type name>"
      }
…...
   ]
