[~Daniel Cave], this is worth considering in a longer term perspective. I do
not know the specific capabilities of NiFi here. Maybe if you could point us to
some documentation (or code), that would be very useful. I guess what NiFi may
provide is a policy driven way to do store and forward of some sort? Is NiFi a
local instance to the hooks, or remote?
