sorry, I messed up. My suggestions again, this time clarified and, I hope, correct URLs:
1. Perhaps someone could update the documentation to explain the problem in http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=15846 in order to avoid future confusion.
I mean: put this *at least* in the changes.xml file. As the "view CVS repositories" doesn't work at this time I cannot check if it has been put in. This is a change in behavior that is not backwards-compatible and so it should be documented in the release/change notes.
2. Is the fix from http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=15846 in? It seems fairly important to stability.

3. I still couldn't verify that the fix explained in http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=13600 works, because I have no working version of Phoenix 4.0.4. What I downloaded from CVS didn't build.
How about putting up a release candidate? I'll download it and play stupid user (not that that would be a strain ;-)
