I don't get any feedbacks from the group. Anyway, the CVS version is quite stable. Surely there are many things to be done. Software development is a never ending process. About release, I don't know the release procedure in Apache. So I could not do it. If you guys feel that incubator is the right place, please do it. And yes, please then give me the CVS write permission for that module.

So, given the above, what do Avaloners think? I'd think that a move to incubator could be right.
The FTP server has a strong relationship (depedencies) with the Cornerstone suite.

From these - the FTP server defines a filke IP restrictor block and a FtpServer block.
The implementation is also tied to the Phoenix BlockContext - which limits portability to some extent. I havn't checked as to real dependency here but just an initial look indicated that BlockContext is being passed around across a number of classes. My assumption is that the FTP server needs a directory reference in which case the removal of the Phoenix dependency could be eliminated. Rana - do you know off-hand if there are any other Phoenix BlockContext references asside from the working directory?
