Mama mia!

I had to do
    cvs --update -kb

to get the files exactly as they were in CVS.

While I was not doing -kb, I cvs was inserting CRLF
for me automatically on checkouts, which made me
think the file had a broken CRLF.

Uff...

This really was giving me gray hairs :-0

Good I have messed out of it finally.
