I was just noticing that the KeepAlive query is being triggered every
time a connection is requested regardless of how long ago the connection
was last used. Looking at the code, it looks like the code was commented
out on April 6th with the following message:
Disable lastUsed-based expiration of connections, since it was borked anyways
This had been working. I committed a fix to get it working again. But I wanted to make sure there was not a reason why it was "borked" that I may have overlooked :-)
It looked unused when I removed it, of course that is also after Berin's fixes to remove the JDBC2/3 disconnect with the wrapper.. So what may have happened was it got broken with Berin's changes, then I noticed it was in there but broken so I disabled it.. and now you've found it :)
