Writing eticate requires that you define an acronym the first time you use it. From that point forward, you can use it as many times as you like in the document without ever redefining it again.
I don't see anything wron with posting a link the first time you mention an external project, do you? I like Google, but but a nice reference to what you are referring to the first time would help.
