Currently, to depend on a component in avalon-components involves setting a dependency on something called "avalon-components" which builds a jar named cornerstone-1.0.jar. Needless to say, that's a bit of a 'coarse' dependency. If/when we are to mavenize the excalibur repo and/or integrate with avalon-components, that's bound to cause some problems.
Each of the main component are broken out into its own groups.
E.g.:
<groupId>cornerstone-connection</groupId> <id>cornerstone-connection-api</id> <id>cornerstone-connection-impl</id>
There is a build a cornerstone-1.0.jar which is only for legacy purposes. In fact this can thrown away once the main components are released.
