Hi,
I just looked at the DefaultTimeScheduler implementation and it does neither implement Poolable nor ThreadSafe. So it defaults to SingleThreaded (when I use it with ECM), no?
Is this a bug or did I oversee something?
ECM uses the deprecated ThreadSafe, SIngleThreaded and Poolable interfaces, which none of the new containers really support. When ECM doesn't find any interfaces it makes the safest guess it can--SingleThreaded.
Fortress, Merlin, and Phoenix all have ways of letting the container know what the component requires. For Pheonix, they are always ThreadSafe. For Fortress and Merlin, they allow the metadata to dictate how it works.
