Maven? I fell I need a 10GHz machine first.
3min and 47sec to get to the point where there is a compile error is totally
against all XP principles. By the time I get test result I have forgotten
what I worked on, and a clean build for Continuous Integration is WAY OUT
unacceptable... Ok, ok, I don't have the fastest machine on the planet, but
neither should I have. It would lead to unacceptable user experiences.
Looking at Maven, it seems that it spawns a JVM for just about everything, or
is that just an impression I get.
I am not happy with the speed, not happy at all. Sorry to spew on this list
about it...
