You should ckeck with Peter Courcoux (on cc) because he's done some stuff already related to the Turbine.

Reg. the maven problem with not putting in the resources: no clue what happened.
Ended up going back to maven b10 and that solved the issue...
I was just about to post a message suggesting this. (where you running from the RC1 download or CVS build?)
