My guess is that "anika" is probably "anakia" misspelled. :) For those who aren't familiar with Anakia: Anakia is the original tool used to transform 'xdoc' (or 'anika') documents into an HTML site. It was developed with Velocity and used to generate the Jakarta site. Maven has adopted the same 'xdoc' format as Anika, but uses different style sheets. I'm not sure if maven still uses Velocity for the transformations. More info: http://jakarta.apache.org/velocity/anakia.html http://jakarta.apache.org/site/jakarta-site2.html J.
