Yes, of course. I'm also just implement an eclipse plugin for merlin, which should be ready in the next two weeks. A 0.0.0.0.1 version :-)
In that plugin I have added a wizzard, which generates all the code for persistence - so you will get running persistence example in seconds. Documentation will need some more days - but I'm working on it.
