IIUC, that's a piece of software for building and managing component repositories. What I'm on about (as opposed to what Steve is on about :D) is an actual repository and supporting community.
Maybe spice-repository would be a nice part of that infrastructure, maybe the project shaping up on the [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list would be, maybe the repository materials in avalon-sandbox would be. Figuring that out would be "stage 2" I guess.
its starting with infrastructure, a way to create a 'component library' and go on from there.
step one is just having a place to find components, that's what is being attacked first.
