  Removed:     kernel/loader/src/java/org/apache/avalon/merlin
                        KernelConfig.java KernelDefaults.java
                        merlin.properties
  Log:
  Remove anything that is not central to the kernel factory deployment.  If we need 
something extra we can bring in in later.
