[merlin] importing merlin developer

Andreas:

Before importing into Avalon Sandbox I would like to suggest a little 
renaming of directories:

   * renaming "MerlinDeveloper Core" to "core"
   * renaming "MerlinDeveloper Launch" to "launch"
   * renaming "MerlinDeveloper Feature" to "feature"
   * renaming "MerlinDeveloper UpdateSite" to "update"
Does this sound ok or is there more behind the directory name then just 
a directory name? I'm presuming that the above four directories would be 
imported into sandbox under ide/eclipse - resulting in:

   /avalon-sandbox/ide/eclipse
     /core
     /launch
     /feature
     /update
Next step would be to mavenize the build which will let us ditch the jar 
files in core.  Maven includes an eclipse plugin which will do the 
generation of the config files needed by Eclipse (.classpath etc.). 
Mavenization should also include getting in place a document build 
procedure.

Thoughts?
