Avalon Composition has now been updated to enable complete model-driven control over
deployment. Embedded application no longer need to reference the activation API as
the model has been enhanced to include runtime comissioning and decommissioning, and
component instance acess and release.

Description:
The current implementation (3.3 HEAD) of the composition framework relies on a runtime
that is established independently of the composition model. If is preferable that we
move control over runtime commissioning and decommissioning to the model, which in
turn enables model-driven redeployment and alternative runtime implementations.
Outstanding issues in archiving this objective relate to the establishment by the
model of a default runtime. This requires some sort of a runtime factory declared at
a system level (e.g. via SystemContext), and the possibility to override a factory at
a container or component model level (i.e. under ContainmentContext or
ComponentContext).
A second aspect is the relationship between the model and the runtime - in particular,
an model-driven event pattern is required in which the runtime responds to model based
deployment status - enabling the triggering of event driven redeployment of runtime
artifacts.
