Right that's why we need to get involved to help regulate the direction of this one container. Steve seems to inject stuff into Merlin rapidly and these are good things that he's doing. We have a guy with lots of stamina willing to code through the nights - that's great. Now where's the damage control. Cuz no matter how good you are, you're code will start to smell like you and will begin to reflect your ideals. It requires outside influence from peers working together to help demonstrate how things can be simplified to make all users, authors and developers of the container happy. Our problems are not that we don't have enough techniques in the war chest to achieve these goals. The true obstacles are social incongruity. We need to help each other realize our goals with respect to this one container without hindering the goals of others. Personally I think we can get there. What say you?
