capability can achive the same result by setting the MERLIN_JVM_OPTS environment
variable.

Merlin startup script overrides java.ext.dirs system property which breaks at least
JCE and some other features of newer JDKs. It would be very nice if Merlin could be
started without altering this property. Unfortunately I'm not familiar with class
loading of Merlin so I can't provide a patch.
