Wow! I think there no place that state that. +1 for being ultra-KISS in these directions. In the case of EJB its easy for the container (and containers) to keep a track while they relies on databases. A container may keep an Entity EJB in Cache and use a timestamp to keep track of external modification, and then invalidating the cache. OTOH headless cluster are a such a big monster! And it leads me to ask: is it worth going in this direction?
