Hello all. I'm not sure if I can explain this right the first time through, but I'll try.
Cutting to the chase: The structure of JIRA, SVN, and our versioning system are all different. There are several disconnects, but I'll use just a couple examples: In JIRA we have separate modules for each Cornerstone component, but in SVN they are collected under 'planet' which also has its own JIRA module. Moreover, the facilities in JIRA are under 'Avalon Planet' which makes me wonder why the cornerstone components aren't there too. Another example: In SVN our {ttb} structure is such that the WHOLE Avalon source tree is under one revision. If this philosophy where carried to JIRA, then we should have only one JIRA project for all of Avalon. And while SVN shows our whole source tree is one singular project, we have a versioning system under /runtime/versioning which clearly shows this isn't the case. IMHO the following needs to be reconciled: * JIRA projects * SVN layout ( {ttb} structure ) * artifact versioning (which relates to repository structure) Now perhaps I'm just too far behind on the learning curve for SVN, JIRA, and our own versioning scheme, so if someone else knows the master plan I'd really appreciate some illumination. Otherwise, we need to nail this down and reconcile our internal structure. J.
