No need you already have tags that distinguish 4.1 and 4.2. If you branch of the last version of 4.1 which was 4.1.3 from memory and apply the config changes you have a 4.1.4 which would be identical to 4.2.0 - except for the namespace.


But apparently 4.2.0 is not *identical* to 4.1.4 because 4.2.0 documents claim incorporation of things like constructor injection which clearly isn't supported by just the avalon-framework-4.2.0.jar.

I should add this is exactly why a 4.1.x branch should be established, or better yet rerelease 4.2.0 as 5.0.0.
