More explicitly all except;
Framework
LogKit

Cornerstone either stays here, or will end up on AvalonPlanet when we have
gotten that far (1-2years :o) )

Sounds like a good idea, except that Ant, Maven and Gump are already top-level
projects, and ASF doesn't have a unifying umbrella structure available for
cross-project collaboration. That is a very different issue.

Personally I think Magic will be fairly wide-spread over time, since I have
already heard about people who has no affiliation with Avalon nor me,
inquiring other friends of mine about it. So unless, Maven2 gets something
very right, Magic could be heading towards its own community, but _I_ think
that is several months away before even worth discussing it to a great
extent.

We have made a principal agreement to try to factor out Avalon Repository into
even more generic parts, possibly allowing for a distinction between the
Artifact download and the Classloading/Bootstrap part.

Avalon Logging is another area, strongly tied to the Repository system, but
the whole 'problem domain' of classloading in respect of loggers should be
handled by Log4J & Co, but they seem to view this as a non-issue. It is very
much a 'influence + wait' on our part.

Perhaps a nice thought. Considering that Avalon over the years have managed to
touch upon just about every horizontal technology, from tiny embeddable
systems to application servers, web, swing, logging, classloading and what
not, perhaps the Avalon mission is related in strengthening "other" areas by
research and experimentation.
I honestly doesn't know.
