Uh, that's what I did. I brought it up with the community, then with the PMC. We came to a consensus (without needing a vote) and I forwarded the recommendation to the Board in my last report. The Board's not going to make any official action until the time comes to actually close the project which we didn't want happen occur immediately. So in the mean time we are proceeding as planned in the closure process. I understand that you and perhaps other users might be concerned about what's going to happen and so I'm trying to keep everyone informed. If anyone has questions, please bring them up. I do mind, however, constant badgering about policies and procedures even after answers have been provided. I take offense in the insinuations that I, or anyone else here, has been a puppet or that there is some conspiracy to hurt the Avalon community. At the same time, despite differences some have had with Stephen, there's no reason for anyone to start throwing around insults at him. I believe he wanted assured that I wasn't acting on my own (and I am not) and that query, in and of itself, is a perfectly valid one. So, thanks for trying to keep us honest, Stephen. I hope I've allayed your fears. J.
