I like it.

Does Apache provide a service for running this on consistent hardware?

We probably want to up the 'cycles' count of the test from 800 to 4000 or so to 
lower the variance if this is automated.  800 is a good level for manual tests 
without getting impatient -- but regularly bounces around a bit.  CYCLES is 
currently hard-coded, but we can make it a command line parameter that defaults 
to 800.
