We still need one more +1 vote from a PMC member to release this. Or should I instead merge a few more bugfixes to the 1.5 branch and roll a new candidate?
Or should we push towards a 1.6 release soon? I'd like to get AVRO-856 (updated snappy) into a release soon, to minimize future conflicts as folks bake in dependencies on particular versions of Avro. This is not in the current 1.5.1 candidate.
