Attaching a revised patch which fixes timestamp sorting and duration endianness
issues.
With regard to keeping string representations/zoned types - if I'm not missing
anyone, so far we have basically 1 vote for keeping them and 2 votes against.
If nobody else votes, all that needs to be done is to remove the bits about
string representations from this patch.
Comments about adding "local" date-time and "High-precision" time in addition
to timestamp-millis are welcome.
