Thanks for taking the time to put that together. I don't think we should let the docker image diverge from what is generally used outside. If we think that we need to update scripts, then we should update docker to reflect that change, too, so we don't get into a situation where what we test with (at least some of us) doesn't match a real environment used by people more familiar with that language.
