Hi, I don't have any experience on the other language bindings of Avro but as far as I know hadoop is java only. Moreover, I did not find any reference to hadoop1 in the other bindings. So, I did not create subtasks; attached PR for the java only. Any comments for the PR or the issue itself are appreciated.
