[~rdblue], regarding the above exchange, AVRO-2079 was raised to add support
for JSR-310 date time classes, and a PR has been open for some time
([https://github.com/apache/avro/pull/309|https://github.com/apache/avro/pull/309).]).
What can be done to get some traction on reviewing and merging this change?
