Bumping this ticket. Current [de-facto
standard|https://docs.spring.io/spring-cloud-stream/docs/Brooklyn.RELEASE/reference/html/contenttypemanagement.html#_converters_with_schema_support]
is {{application/avro}} as far as I can tell, but there's no differentiation
between the binary and json encodings.
