Brian Lachniet commented on AVRO-2470:
--------------------------------------
Hi [~Banzai666], would you like to give the pre-release tool a try? The NuGet
package is [Apache.Avro.Tools
v1.9.1-alpha002|https://www.nuget.org/packages/Apache.Avro.Tools/1.9.1-alpha002].
1. Ensure your {{PATH}} includes the {{~/.dotnet/tools/}} directory. I believe
that the .NET Core SDK installer on Windows does this by default, but I think
its a manual step on other platforms.
2. {{dotnet tool install --global Apache.Avro.Tools --version 1.9.1-alpha002}}
3. {{avrogen -s avro-jsonfile.avpr codegeneration}}
> avrogen.dll for C# .NET Core not useable!
