Paver _sorta_ still exists, but it does not seem to have the kind of attention
that would warrant switching approaches. The last commit to [paver on
GitHub|https://github.com/paver/paver] was in 2017, [the Google
Group|https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/paver] has been silent since 2015
and the original creators [basically handed it
off|https://www.blueskyonmars.com/2010/11/11/paver-is-now-on-github-thanks-to-almad/]
in 2010.
I recommend a maintainer close this ticket.
