Hi, The Apache Avro Rust crate never releases patch versions, and the entire community tends to always use the latest version as shown on https://crates.io/crates/apache-avro. Meanwhile, Apache Avro Rust is going to have its own release plan.
How about stopping cherry-picking rust commits to old branches by default? We could always check out the main branch to do releases instead. We can perform cherry-picks as needed instead of by default. I believe this can greatly reduce the maintenance workload for Avro Rust. What do you think? Xuanwo https://xuanwo.io/
