A much-used Avro Gradle plugin
(https://github.com/davidmc24/gradle-avro-plugin) was archived more than two
years ago. The archived Avro plugin was donated to Apache Avro, but was deemed
to outdated and not worth it to integrate into the Apache Avro repository.
{*}This feature is the new Avro Gradle plugin{*}. It already works for AVSC
files, and has all the options the Avro Maven plugin has.
Get the BETA version from Maven Central:

Oscar and I discussed a release under org.apache.avro somewhere in the coming
month.
