So, it looks like we can do a release based on Spark 2.1.2 and Spark 2.2.1.
After that, we will need to migrate some of our extensions to datasource v2 API and do a release based on Spark 2.3 I will get started with the Bahir 2.1.2 and 2.2.1 releases.
