Hey everyone, I have taken a few days just before the holidays to learn and experiment with the 3d tiles specification, the GLTF specification and Cesium.
I am generating 3d meshes on the fly from OSM vector buildings that are stored in the PostGIS database. It is really a lot of fun as I quickly get visual feedback from my tests inside Cesium. The 3d tiles specification [1] and GLTF specification [2] are really great for large 3d datasets, and with all the new 3d applications coming up, it makes sense to experiment a bit.
