Hello Everyone, Apache Baremaps [1] joined the incubator two years ago. It is a toolkit and a set of infrastructure components for creating, publishing, and operating online maps. We recently managed to resolve most of our licensing issues and are aiming to increase our release cadence. However, we are struggling to secure the necessary votes [2] and are seeking help and advice from the broader Apache community.
As some of you are directly involved in geospatial projects, I thought you might find this project interesting. We have a few modules that will soon be published on Maven (e.g., OpenStreetMap reader, GeoParquet reader/writer, PMTiles reader/writer, etc.) [3]. Looking forward to hearing from you.
