Hi beam community, My name is Shaheer, and I’m a third-year Computer Science student with a strong interest in distributed systems and large-scale data processing. I’ve recently started contributing to Apache Beam by setting up the development environment, running the test suite, and exploring the Python SDK to understand the project’s architecture and workflows.
I’m planning to contribute consistently to Apache Beam over the coming months and am particularly interested in building a strong contribution record as I prepare for *GSoC 2026*. I’m currently reviewing open issues and contribution guidelines to identify areas where I can add value while learning from ongoing discussions and reviews.
