Hey everyone, as we are starting to prepare for our 2 biggest community
events of the year, Beam College and Beam Summit, we are looking for a few
volunteers to help with each event. For each event, we have the following
needs:

*Beam College:*

We need instructors for various sessions across 3 tracks. These talks can
be live on April 22/23 or recorded ahead of time. Our tracks are:

   1. Beginner: basics of writing a Beam pipeline. Example sessions could
include: authoring your first pipeline, a high level overview of what Beam
is and how it can be used, or how to use Beam Yaml.
   2. Tips & Tricks: practical ways to use Beam to solve Data processing
problems. Example sessions could include: How we use Beam to do XYZ thing,
using State and Timers, managing exceptions in Beam.
   3. New Features: new things added in Beam in the last year or 2. Example
sessions could include: what's new in the ML space, how to use IcebergIO
features, or how Beam is moving CDC forward

If you're interested in participating, please reply to this email. If you
have a specific track or talk you'd like to help with, please include that
information. We are trying to finalize the program by next Wednesday (Feb
4), so please let me know as soon as you can!

*Beam College:*

We are looking for people to help organize the event. Typically we need
help sourcing or selecting speakers, designing the program, helping promote
the event and find sponsors, or managing event logistics.

If you're interested in helping with part of this, please reply to this
email.

Thanks,
Danny
