Hi Beam community, My name is Hung Truong, a CS student at the University of South Florida (graduating 2026). I'm writing to introduce myself as a prospective GSoC 2026 contributor interested in the "Simplify management of Beam infrastructure, access control and permissions via Platform features" project.
Relevant experience: - Built monitoring and observability infrastructure at MoMo (Vietnamese FinTech, 50M+ users) using Terraform, Docker, and cloud-native tools - Microsoft internship working with cloud infrastructure and CI/CD - LFX Mentorship with CNCF on OpenTelemetry integration - Proficient in Terraform, GCP, AWS, Python, Go, and Kubernetes I've read the GSoC 2025 infrastructure blog post and reviewed the current infra/ directory (IAM Terraform configs, GH Actions workflows). I'm excited to continue and expand on last year's work — particularly around drift detection, expanded IaC coverage, and security monitoring. I've forked the repository and am exploring the codebase. Would appreciate guidance on a good first issue in the infrastructure area to start contributing.
