Hi, Those issues have been rootcaused and 1.78.2 is on the way. We don't anticipate changes to Beam's GRPC version bound, which would additionally allow `grpc>=1.78.1<2`. The serverless GCP failure mode most likely doesn't apply to Beam, so even now one can still force-install Grpc 1.78.1, though by the time we release Beam 2.72.0, grpc 1.78.2 will likely be available.
