I dug into the data a bit deeper, using the GitHub Archive data on BigQuery
[1]. Comparing against all active GitHub projects in 2016 [2],
apache/beam-incubating is the 177th most active project by pull requests
opened [3]. This puts us in the 0.01%th percentile of active GitHub
projects for the year. Beam is the fourth most active Apache project,
behind apache/spark, apache/kafka, and apache/flink. Notably, these are all
projects that Beam integrates with well :)
