Hi all,

I put in a draft Planning page on the wiki at
http://wiki.apache.org/beehive/Planning . The idea is to create a
picture of where we're going feature-wise, and also to understand who's
active/expert in each area. This shouldn't be a way to limit anyone's
participation in an area (i.e., you can still contribute if you're not
listed as an "area expert", but it is a way for us to understand what's
being covered, and where there are holes.

As for individual features, there are links to JIRA queries instead of
an actual table that would have to be kept up-to-date in parallel --
this was Eddie's idea originally. I think this would work as long as we
committed to using JIRA across-the-board for items other than bugs. I
also left spaces for general new feature areas that aren't captured in
individual JIRA issues (too broad? actively being worked on by multiple
people?).

Please let me know what you think.

Thanks,
Rich
