As I have read the recent comments, I now have a question regarding the GUI that is even more fundamental than the questions I asked in the architectural-design document -- (a) is OOoBib designing a new bibliographic GUI for OO, or (b) is OOoBib just modifying the current GUI to include new functionality? I had assumed the answer was (a), but now that seems incorrect. Is it safe for me to assume that we are not limited by the current bibliographic GUI design?

Matthias Basler's had already done a lot of excellent work on the Version 1.0 GUI in his document, 'OpenOffice bibliographic project GUI specification draft v0.2' in the OOoBib project library. I did the architectural design to help ensure that the functionality for future versions could be done as extensions to the V1.0 GUI. The next step is to integrate our two documents together to define the conceptual and logical designs for the GUI, but I do need to know the constraints. :-)
