Wow! I've reviewed this list and I believe (luckily) that some of them are kind of redundant, that is, they describe the same task for different media. F.e. 1. Author(s) Person(s) 8. Author of part person 19. Speech Written by Person(s) and 33. Music Composed by Person(s) all refer to, what MODS3 called "Creator". So my idea is that: 1. depending on the selected media type only suitable a selection of the 34 affiliations are shown to the user for selection and 2. Internally the relationship is stored in a media-independent format (if this is possible), e.g. "creator" instead of "speech writer". BTW, if we use MODS3 as an internal storage format, then we will have to respect any limitations concerning the relationships there. I don't believe that MODS3 supports all those 34 different relationships. Bruce knows better than I what's possible to store in MODS3 and what is not.
