re grouping,
The bibliographic convention that I had to use in my MA thesis was that the
Bibliography had to be presented in two groups -
Primary Sources (original source texts)
Grouped by Author , Date(descending)
Secondary Sources (everything else)
Grouped by Author , Date(descending)
This seems to imply the need for allocating reference texts to user defined
sorting-groups, and the user specifying sort-groups and the sorting criteria
within the groups.
I could supply short sample from the thesis if you want.
