Openoffice supports the use of right to left scripts such as
Arabic and Hebrew. I expect that we will be able to use that support in the
bibliographic application.

I have done some tests and the current (version 2) Openoffice bibliographic
system and it seems to work with right to left scripts in editing. I copied
Arabic text into the edit boxes and right to left operation did seem
correct. The Bibliographic Table correctly displayed the Arabic text.

Note you need to have the setting Tools-->Options->Language
Settings->Languages->Enabled complex text layout (CTL)´=enabled. for support
for right to left scripts to work.

As to Bruce´s question as to what we need to ensure this does work, we
will need to check with the Writer experts, but I would guess specifying the
language as in <author language="ar"> would be enough.
